About Us
Daryl Vermillion. Pastor
Pastor Daryl came to us out of our congregation. Daryl surrendered to a ministry calling in 2008. He was licensed to preach in 2009.
The Church called him to be our fulltime Pastor in 2019 and he was ordained in ministry in October of 2019 He has served as an interim and supply Pastor in over 20 Churches in the Sandy Creek Association and surrounding associations. He served as a Deacon in our Church for over 20 years. He has been a Sunday School Director and Teacher Youth Group Leader, Discipleship Director Small Group Leader, Outreach and Evangelism Director. Trustee and has served on many Church Committees.
Currently he serves on the Sandy Creek Association Personnel Committee and the Sandy Creek Mission Board.
He serves on the Beardstown Minesterial Association and writes quarterly for the Cass Star Gazette Focus on Faith column.
Daryl has a heart for people and loves serving the Lord as a shepherd and leader in this congregation. He has a burden for Beardstown and the surrounding area, especially for lost people.
His ministry is supported by his wife Sherry and she serves as an Assistant Song Leader and Music Director.
Daryl and Sherry have 2 adult children, Levi and Seth and 4 beautiful Granddaughters, Rylynn, Lydia, Sophie and Sawyer.
He and Sherry reside in rural Brown County.
